A R G U S AnchorTag was envisaged and developed by Mark Tolley an experienced Australian sailor, engineer, and founder of Acoustic Data, a global leader in downhole oilwell data transfer by acoustic means. He designed and patented cost effective systems for transferring anchor orientation and speed data to the bridge in real time, displayed in 3D visual format, by Sonar for smaller vessels, and by Acoustics via the anchor chain for larger commercial vessels.

He is experienced in financial markets, investor relations, general management, project and production operations management, production technology, reservoir engineering, and well site operations. He has particular experience in the CIS and is fluent in the Russian language.

Growing up by the sea in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Viktor Lizunov has spent much of his life on boats, gaining extensive hands-on maritime experience as a sailor, including service in the navy. Years of navigating the Mediterranean, particularly along the Adriatic coast, provided him with firsthand insight into the challenges and risks of anchoring, where sudden weather changes and powerful Bura winds can quickly create dangerous situations.

Recognising the need for a more reliable and intelligent anchoring solution, Viktor became a driving force behind the development of ARGUS AnchorTag, helping transform a long-standing maritime challenge into an innovative technological solution.

Fluent in five languages, Viktor has also built a successful career in sales, marketing, and investor relations. By combining his maritime expertise with strong commercial and business development skills, he plays a key role in bringing innovative maritime technologies to market and building strategic partnerships across the industry.

Sven combines strong expertise in software development, artificial intelligence, and modern digital technologies with a passion for solving complex real-world challenges. At ARGUS AnchorTag, he contributes to the development of intelligent software systems, data-driven solutions, and next-generation AI capabilities that support smarter and safer anchoring operations.

As a passionate sailor, Sven brings valuable firsthand maritime experience, helping bridge the gap between advanced technology and practical applications at sea.

Hardware Engineer

Ivan is a young and ambitious hardware engineer passionate about electronics, embedded systems, and product innovation. He supports the development of ARGUS AnchorTag's smart anchoring technologies, contributing to hardware design, prototyping, and testing.

His curiosity, technical talent, and enthusiasm for engineering make him an important part of our growing R&D team.
